10.11.55 No 17 (the Toy Shop) (previously listed as premises 45 yards west of Falcon Hotel) GV II

House, now shop. Late C18. Ironstone ashlar with paler stone dressings, plain tile roof, coped gables, brick east end stack. Two storeys and attic. Three window range. Double-fronted. Central entrance in fine moulded architrave (similar to Post Office q.v.) with double keystone and fanlight with glazing bars. C20 door. C20 shop windows to either side. First floor has 6/6 sash windows in raised and moulded architraves with cambered heads and double keystones. Three 2-light hipped dormers.
