Description
Smalls Clothiers is a house and shop with origins in the 18th century, which was altered and enlarged in the 19th century. The building is constructed of stone and brick, rendered and painted cream, and features a Welsh slate roof with rendered ridge and end stacks. It stands three storeys tall and has a four-window range. The shop front is from the 20th century, and there is a band between the ground and first floors. The first floor has four sash windows, with the two left-hand windows featuring glazing bars and remnants of architraves with keystones that have since been removed. A blocked window between these two originally had a similar architrave but with a double keystone. The second floor has 3/3 sash windows. The building is included for its group value.
