Description

No. 8, known as C S Love, is a house with a 19th-century front that conceals an earlier building. It features an ashlar front and a brick gable on the east side. The roof is made of Collyweston stone slate, and there is a brick stack at the west end. The house has two storeys, with a late 19th-century canted bay window on the right and a door on the left that has a rectangular overlight above it. There is a narrow sash window on the first floor above the door, and the building is topped with a coved cornice. It is included in the listing for its group value.
