Bank and shop, incorporating remains of house to rear. C17 rear wing and late C19 block to street. Rear wing of ashlar with Welsh slate roof, coped gable on decorative kneelers and stone end stack. Two storeys, plinth. North side has a 2-storey canted bay with stone mullioned windows (some mullions are replacements), with a blocked doorway to left and later door to left of this. South side has 3-light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned windows to ground and first floor. Gable end has 2 similar 2-light windows, and 2 single light windows above. Ground floor interior of gable end has massive fireplace with chamfered bressumer, spanning nearly the whole width of the house, but one end truncated. Block to street of ashlar. Moulded end and rear lateral stacks. Two storeys and attics. Balanced asymmetrical composition in Jacobethan style with 3 curved gables with finials. Mullion and transom windows. Bank has a 6-light window with king mullion and entrance beneath highly enriched hood on brackets. Shop has late C19 shop front to ground floor and mullion and transom windows above.
