Description

Olde Bank House is a 17th-century dwelling and shop, identified on maps as Bank House. It features a rendered and ashlared timber framework with a Welsh slate roof. The building has twin gables facing the street and deep projections at the back. It stands three storeys tall and has three windows, with a central window located under the gable valley. The shop front and door are modern, as is the plank door in a moulded surround with a flat hood supported by consoles. The first floor has three sash windows, while the second floor has two sash windows, all without bars and set under segmental heads. There are string courses, including one at the apex of the gable, which mark the horizontal timbers.
