Description
Clumber House Post Office is a dwelling and post office built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a stone eaves cornice and a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall, plus a cellar, and slightly projects forward from the adjacent Paddocks Cottage. It has a two-windowed façade with sash windows that do not have bars, set beneath stepped voussoir lintels. The 19th-century shop front includes moulded pilasters and an eight-pane window facing High Street, with a door located in the returned face under a transom light that has glazing bars.
