Description

The Post Office is a house and post office located in Grafton Underwood, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a roof with modern plain tiles on the front slope and Welsh slates on the rear. The building has end stacks with brick shafts on slightly projecting stone chimneys. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, and there is a two-light casement window above it. The other windows are mostly three-light, primarily iron-framed gudgeon-hung casements, all with gauged stone heads. To the right, there is a one-storey addition that includes a shop window and a boarded door, along with outshuts at the rear. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
