Description
Church House is an 18th-century dwelling and shop. It is rendered to the parapet and has a prominent horizontal string course, a stepped painted plinth, and a concrete tile roof. Large chimney stacks are positioned at either end of the roof. The building has two storeys and five window bays, with sash windows throughout, although they lack window bars. On the ground floor, beneath the windows, are small 19th-century shop fronts. The centrally positioned entrance has a six-panel door, with four glazed panels, set within a moulded surround and sheltered by a flat hood supported by brackets.
