Description

The Pharmacy is a late 18th-century dwelling and shop located on the east side of High Street in Newnham. It is constructed of painted brick and features a concrete tile roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has four windows. The shop front is adorned with a 19th-century moulded pilaster surround, and there is fixed glass in a former sash opening next to it. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, set deep under flat brick arches, with two blind windows on the second floor and one on the first floor. The entrance features a six-panel door beneath a shallow transom light that includes interlaced tracery.
