Description

Dorothy Gilks Jeweller is a house that includes a shop, dated 1734 as indicated on the rainwater head, although it likely has an earlier origin. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and features a plain tile roof with a brick stack at the west end. It has two storeys. The ground floor is designed as a 19th-century double-fronted shop. On the first floor, there are two 6/6 sash windows set in raised architraves, each with segmental heads and keystones. The building is topped with a cornice and parapet.
