Description

The Rutland Bookshop is a house that includes a shop, built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof along with a brick stack at the east end. The building has three storeys and is one window wide. There is a raised band painted black between the storeys. On the ground floor, a half-glazed flush-panelled door is located to the right of the shop window, which is framed by small engaged Doric columns. The first and second floors have sash windows with glazing bars. This building is included for its group value.
