Description
Baines Tea Room is an 18th-century house that includes a tea room. It is built from coursed rubble with a brick gable end and rear, topped with a Collyweston stone slate roof featuring coped gables and brick end stacks. The building stands three storeys high and has two canted bays that are two storeys tall. The first floor features sash windows, while the ground floor has shop windows flanking a 20th-century door set within an original moulded architrave. There is a later door to the left. On the second floor, there are two three-light windows beneath timber lintels, with casement openings that include glazing bars and H-hinges.
