Description
AC Johnson Uppingham Dairies is a house that includes shops, consisting of two 17th century buildings that have been altered at the street front. The structure is made of squared stone and features a Collyweston stone slate roof with a brick stack at the north end built on a stone base. It has two storeys and an attic, with a block facing the street and a wing extending to the rear. The street-facing block has two late 19th century shop fronts on the ground floor, two three-light casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor, and a hipped two-light dormer. The rear wing contains two and three-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned windows, a blocked door with an oval window above it, and an 8/8 sash window with thick glazing bars.
