Description
Dillon's Newsagents is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a steeply pitched slate roof with a brick ridge stack on the left side. The building has two storeys plus an attic and presents a two-window range. The shop front is a 20th-century addition. On the first floor, there are two 3-light casement windows with chamfered wooden lintels, and a single gabled roof dormer. The right side has stone coping. Inside, the ground floor is reported to have been remodelled in the 20th century, but an original beam is said to survive on the first floor.
