Description
The Old Pharmacy is a house that has been converted into a shop and flats, dating from around 1770 to 1780. It is constructed from squared and coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and features a double-gabled Welsh slate roof, along with brick end stacks that have a stone dripcourse. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high, with a symmetrical five-window range. There is a stone bracketed flat hood over a 20th-century door that includes a Gothick fanlight. The shop windows are also from the 20th century. The building has flat stone arches over six-pane sashes, which are horned on the second floor, and there are sashes at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
