The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a stucco front and features a gabled Welsh slate roof, with stone slates and concrete tiles at the rear, and a brick end stack. The structure is L-shaped with a rear left wing and has two storeys with a two-window range. The shop front is from the 20th century, while the mid-19th century windows are horned three-pane sashes. The rear wing, which is from the 17th century, is made of limestone rubble and has a gabled concrete tile roof with a stone end stack; its side walls have been partly rebuilt in the 20th century. Inside, the building features late 16th century to early 17th century hollow and ogee-moulded beams, and the rear wing has chamfered beams.
