Description
The Bladuds Head Public House is a public house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of painted limestone ashlar and features a double-pitched pantile roof with moulded stacks, including one to the left of the central ridge, a truncated stack at the right gable end, and another at the rear gable. The building has a double depth plan with a rear left wing and stands two storeys high with a four-window range. The door and stack positioned to the left of centre indicate that it was originally a baffle-entry house that was remodeled in the 19th century. The first floor has 19th-century casement windows, while the ground floor features double 19th-century three-panel doors beneath a stone hood supported by shaped brackets. These doors are flanked by six-over-six pane sash windows, with similar doors on the far right and a four-pane window on the far left. The interior has been altered.
