Description

A pair of attached houses dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations. The houses are constructed of sandstone rubble with limestone dressings, and have a rendered right return. They are roofed with double Roman tiles, featuring raised coped verges and brick gable stacks. The house to the left is two storeys high with two windows, featuring two-light multi-pane casements with segmental heads. A gabled trellis porch with a panelled and glazed door is located on the left side. Withydale is also two storeys high with a lower roof ridge, and has two windows to both the ground and first floors, similar to the adjacent house. It features an off-centre gabled wooden porch with a 20th-century door. The interior of the properties has not been inspected.
