Description

A pair of attached houses, dating from around the mid-19th century, with alterations made in the later 19th and 20th centuries. They are built of rendered stone rubble and cob, with a scantle slate roof, ridge tiles, and gable ends. Brick shafts rise from gable end stacks. The houses have a plan with one room in each, featuring paired central entrances, and a room to the outer side of equal size, heated by a gable end stack. The exterior presents a symmetrical four-window front. All windows are 19th-century six-pane sashes. The ground floor has two doorways with 19th-century plank doors, featuring raised fillets and glazed panels. Six-pane sash windows are located on each outer side. The gable ends are blind. The interior was not inspected.
