Description

The bridge over the River Menalhyl, located in St Columb Major, is likely from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble and features a single rounded arch. The arch is adorned with dressed granite voussoirs on both the upstream and downstream sides. The parapet walls are also made of rubble with granite coping, measuring approximately 10 metres long on the upstream side and extending about 20 metres on the downstream side, where it partly serves as a boundary wall. The parapet stands about one metre high.
