Description

A pair of attached houses dating from the 18th century, located on Bradford Road. The houses are constructed of coursed and squared rubble, with dressed quoins, and have a double-Roman tile roof with three hipped dormers and three 19th-century brick ridge stacks. They are two storeys and attics, with a five-bay facade. The windows are 2-light stone mullioned, each light containing a narrow sash window with glazing bars. A weathered string course runs above the ground floor openings. The front features two door openings with ogee-moulded stone surrounds. Number 18 has a 6-panelled door set within a 20th-century gabled ashlar porch with a half-glazed door and a hipped roof, while number 20 has a 6-panelled door within a 20th-century hipped roofed porch with a three-quarter glazed door.
