Description

Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some later alterations. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with limestone dressings and features a hipped slate roof with a shallow pitch, deep eaves, and a central well. The building has stone stacks, along with some areas covered in pantiles and plain tiles.

The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows, all of which are sashes set in flat architraves with cills. The central entrance features a four-panelled door with an overlight that has decorative glazing, and is topped by a flat hood supported by console brackets. A band course returns to the sides of the building.

On the left side, there are two sashes at ground level and one at first floor level on the right, along with a 20th-century single storey lean-to on the left. The right side has three sashes at ground level, with one sash on the left and right at first floor level, and a lean-to with a two-light casement on the right.

At the rear, there are two similar sashes on the first floor, a pantiled lean-to along the back, and a 20th-century single storey addition with a porch. Attached to the rear right is a single storey outbuilding with a plain tiled roof, featuring a door with a heavy timber lintel to the left, three doors, and two windows under the eaves at the back, partially constructed in 20th-century blockwork.
