Description

LOSTWITHIEL BODMIN HILL, Lostwithiel SX 15 NW 10/57 Nos 28 and 29 - GV II

Pair of attached houses. Circa 1830, with some C20 alterations. Rendered stone rubble. Asbestos slate roof with gable ends and brick ridge stacks. 2 attached houses of double depth plan; side entrance to No. 28, which is to the left of the 2 houses, with central front entrance to No. 29, which is to the right. Principal rooms to front right and left, with service rooms to rear. 2 storeys on basement, ground floor has central 6-panelled door with overlight, canted bay through 2 storeys to right and left, bay to left retains reeded surrounds to windows, 20-pane sash with 4-pane sidelights at, ground and first floor, bay to left has C20 replacement sashes. Cellar door at base of each bay; deep eaves on brackets. Left side in slatestone rubble with granite quoins, ground floor right blocked doorway with timber lintel, 4-panelled door to left. Attic rendered and weatherboarded, with 3-light C20 window. Interior Not inspected.
