Description
Duke House is a house dating from around 1800, with 20th-century additions. It is built of rubble that has been rendered and lined out, topped with a slate roof featuring ridge coping tiles and gable ends, although the stacks have been removed. The house has a central entrance and a double depth plan, with the main rooms located at the front on the left and right, creating a symmetrical appearance. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows. The ground floor features a central six-panelled door with headed panels, reeded cheeks, and an overlight, along with a 20th-century glazed porch. There are 16-pane sash windows on both the right and left sides. The first floor also has 16-pane sash windows on the right and left, with a 20th-century central light, and the house has deep eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
