Description
Nos. 10 and 11 are a pair of cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble and feature triple Roman tile roofs with raised coped verges, creating a picturesque appearance. The cottages are two storeys high and have four windows, which include 2 and 3-light multi-pane casements set under segmental heads. The left cottage has a full-height gable with a quatrefoil, while the right cottage features a lower central two-storey gabled porch with a four-centered arch door and a 2-light window above it. There is a similar window to the right, and a lean-to structure on the return to the left. The left return elevation of No. 10 has a square-headed chamfered door, a window matching the front, and a single light in a gabled eaves dormer. The right return elevation has an expressed stack. The interior has not been inspected.
