House, flanking wall and east wing. Ashlar, rubble, slate hipped roofs. U-plan. Entrance front has two storeys, seven windows all sashes, the much taller ground floor ones are cut through the cill band, off-centre right is a reset mid-C18 doorcase, curved pediment with coat of arms and swags, pilasters, moulded round arch, above is a plat band and plain parapet; at left garden elevation has two storeys, nine windows, sashes, first three are as main front then parapet sweeps down (for a while there are two plat bands), ground floor has cill band. A circa 2m. high rubble wall connects main block to hipped east wing, adjacent main elevation this has two storeys, two windows, sashes on cill band below, six-pane sashes above, plat band, parapet, return elevation has six windows now altered to paired sashes. Within courtyard made by C20 low wing, main block shows large stairhead tri-partite window, remainder much altered.
