Description

Conygre House is a house dating to circa 1760. It is built of squared and coursed rubble with stone dressings, featuring rusticated quoins, a parapet with cornices, and a slate roof. The south front is tall, with three storeys and three windows. The windows are 19th-century plate glass sashes with marginal glazing, set in moulded stone surrounds. A central 6-panel door from the early 19th century is set within a moulded stone architrave, topped with a flat hood supported by carved brackets. The house has a moulded eaves cornice and a plain parapet, with end stone stacks.
