Description
Nos. 16 and 17 Pound Pill are a pair of cottages dating from the early 17th century and the 19th century. They are built of painted rubble stone and feature concrete tile roofs, standing two and two and a half storeys high. No. 16 has a gable end facing the road, with a dormer gable on the south front. It includes a 2-light recessed hollow-moulded window in the attic and first floor, and a 3-light recessed chamfered window on the ground floor, all adorned with hoodmoulds. The adjoining wing, No. 17, is from the 19th century and has a small 12-pane sash window on each floor.
