Description
The former British School, now part of Corsham Primary School, is a schoolroom built in 1839. It is constructed from squared rubble stone and features a low-pitched slate roof with coped gables. The building is one storey high and has pedimental gables with a band across them. On the east end, there is a plaque that reads 'British School 1839 Supported by voluntary contributions'. The schoolroom has thirty-six-pane windows set in flush surrounds with flush keystones, with one window on the east end and four on the north and south side walls. There is a door to the right of the south side and another door at the west end.
