Description

The front wall and piers to the Hungerford Almshouses date from the 17th century and are constructed from rubble stone with ashlar coping. There are two ashlar piers with chamfered caps and ball finials located in front of the Warden's House on Pound Pill. In front of the center of the almshouse range on Lacock Road, there are similar but slightly more elaborate piers.
