Description

No. 3 South Place is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of ashlar stone with a stone tiled roof, featuring coped gables and rear stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. It includes a floor band and a coved eaves cornice. On the first floor, there are two 12-pane sash windows and one blank window, while the ground floor features two 12-pane sash windows and a central six-panel door set in a raised surround, topped with a hood supported by brackets. The east end wall displays two bands, an attic 12-pane sash window, and two first-floor 12-pane sash windows.
