Description

Tucking Mill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1800. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a slate roof featuring coped raised verges, a coped parapet, and a moulded cornice. Brick end stacks are also present. The farmhouse is arranged over two storeys with three bays, and has rusticated quoins. It has 16-pane glazing bar sash windows in moulded architraves, each with a keystone. The ground floor windows are tripartite with a plain band above. The central entrance has a six-panelled door set under an overlight, and is framed by a doorcase with Tuscan columns and a broken pediment. A front garden wall built of ashlar stone has moulded coping and square, capped gatepiers.
