Description

No. 47 is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one house. It is dated 1745 but was refenestrated and extended in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of rubble and features double Roman tile roofs with raised coped verges. It stands two storeys high and has six windows on the first floor, all of which are 2-light multi-pane casements set tightly under the eaves. The ground floor windows are similar but deeper, except for the two windows on the left, which are 3-light casements with large flat mullions. To the right, there is a 20th-century half-glazed door beneath a timber lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
