Description

The road bridge over the River Chew in Compton Dando is a late medieval structure that has been repaired and altered over time. It is built from rubble and features a coped parapet. The bridge has three semi-circular arches, with the central arch being slightly larger than the others, and there are cutwaters between the arches. This bridge is also scheduled as an Ancient Monument, designated as Avon County No. 160.
