Description

Nos. 9 and 10 Front Street are a pair of cottages that were originally one house, dated 1699. They are constructed from random rubble and feature a pantiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with each having one wide bay. Each cottage has a boarded door to the right, framed by an alternating-block surround, and one sash window to the left and one on the left floor. The ground-floor window of No. 9 has a dated lintel that includes a cherub's head and wings. The roof is steeply pitched with gables, flat coping, and corniced end stacks.
