Description

The monument to Elliott Wood, located approximately 5 metres north of Sergison Chapel, is a chest tomb dating from around 1750. It features a brick and stone plinth supporting a stone chest. The chest has a moulded base with slightly projecting corners, incised octagonal decorations, similarly shaped inscription panels, and a moulded cornice topped with a flat stone.
