Description

Churchyard Cottages is a cottage that dates back to 1642, although it was refronted in the 19th century. The building is timber-framed and features red brick with a steeply pitched tiled roof that has a gablet. It has two storeys and two windows, with 19th-century casements on the first floor and 20th-century oriels on the ground floor. The entrance includes a simple plank door and a modern gabled wooden trelliswork porch. At the rear, there is a catslide roof. Inside, the cottage boasts an 18th-century inglenook fireplace with salt alcoves.
