Description
No 7 Church Street is a house that was later converted into cottages but is now under single ownership. It is likely a 15th-century timber-framed building that was refaced in the 19th century. The ground floor is finished in painted brick, while the first floor is pebble-dashed, although two upright posts are still visible on the front elevation. The rear elevation is weather-boarded. The building features a tiled roof with a gable on the right side and has one storey with attics, containing three windows. There are two gabled dormers with casement windows and three casement windows on the ground floor. Access is provided by two wooden plank doors, with a passage entry on the left side also featuring a plank door. An external chimney stack is located on the right side, with a base made of sandstone, and there is a catslide roof at the rear.
