Description
This is an early 19th-century building, originally stuccoed, situated on South Terrace. It comprises Nos. 21 and 21A. The building is four storeys high, with a basement and area, and has a cornice and blocking course along the top. The South Terrace front features two four-storey canted bays, each with five windows. The windows are sash windows with metal fringed hoods and horizontal glazing bars, except on the third floor where the bays terminate in cornices. A section of dentil cornice remains below the main cornice. The return side facing Norfolk Road is also four storeys high, with three windows. A projecting entrance porch is supported by piers, and has a dentil bedmould below the cornice, and a blocking course. A two-storey, two-window stucco extension faces Norfolk Road and is designated as No. 21A. Nos. 21 to 25 on South Terrace form a group.
