Description

This is an early 19th-century building, originally a National Westminster Bank. It is constructed of stucco, with three storeys and three windows. The windows are barred sashes, with the windows on the second floor being smaller than those below. The ground floor has been modernized with brickwork. The building has moulded eaves and a slate hipped roof. A two-storey wing in stucco is set to the rear on New Road, featuring sashes. This wing is included for group value. The building forms a group with numbers 46 to 52 (even) on the High Street.
