Description

48 and 50 High Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall with an attic and feature four windows. The windows are sashes set in moulded cased frames. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone quoins at the corners and a moulded stone cornice. There are four gable dormers, and the roofs are covered with modern tiles. The shop fronts are made of plate glass. These buildings are included for their group value, as they form a cohesive group with Nos 46 to 52 (even).
