Description

Nos 25 and 27 on High Street is a building that was originally two separate structures, dating from the 18th century. It has three storeys plus an attic and features a red brick facade with seven windows. The windows are sashes set in moulded cases, framed with moulded stone key blocks. At the eaves, there is a coved stone cornice, and the building has pedimented dormers, which are likely modern additions. The roof is tiled, and there are large modern plate glass shop fronts. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 25 to 35 (odd).
