Description

No. 50 on Fore Street is an 18th-century building featuring painted brickwork and a slate hipped roof. It has a central pediment with a small semi-circular window and a plain brick eaves course. The structure is two storeys tall with an attic and includes five windows that are double hung sashes with glazing bars, keystones, and brick label moulds. The ground floor has a large 20th-century shop front that is considered incongruous with the rest of the building. Nos. 42 to 52 (even) are part of a group.
