Description

Nos 57 and 59, Fore Street, are a pair of early 19th-century buildings. They are constructed of rubble, with No 57 additionally roughcast. Both have slate roofs. The buildings originally had three sash windows, though these now lack glazing bars. No 57 has a decorative band and flat pilasters, with plain architraves to the windows. A two-light sash window forms the ground floor shop front. No 59 features a fielded panel door. The buildings contribute to the group value of Nos 49 to 63 (odd) on Fore Street.
