Description
Nos 50 and 51 on Broad Street is a single building dating from the mid-18th century. It has two storeys and attics, with a cement-rendered exterior and coursed rubble on the sides. The building features two brick chimney stacks and a hipped mansard roof covered with stone slates, which includes two hipped dormers. There is a band between the storeys and a dentilled eaves cornice. The façade has four windows, with the two outer windows on the first floor blocked; only one of these has glazing bars and all have segmental arches. There are two round-headed central doorways, each with half-glazed doors. Additionally, there are two small 19th-century shop windows, with the one for No 51 still retaining some glazing bars. A small plinth is visible to the right. Nos 50 to 52 form a group.
