Description

The railings and terrace to No 1 on Broad Street date from 1671 and are designated as a Grade II* listed structure. The small stone terrace features impressive wrought iron gates and railings, which lead to stone tiers adorned with carved urns that display swags. There are five semi-circular stone steps. This structure is part of a group that includes No 1, No 2, the wall and gates to No 2, Nos 3, 4, the Warden's House to No 4, and Nos 5 to 11 in succession.
