Description
Nos 1 to 3 St John's Street is a building dating from the 18th century. It has two storeys and attics, constructed from coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The building features five gabled dormers with casement windows and two brick chimneys, one of which is modern. There are five windows in total; the leftmost window has a double-hung sash with glazing bars set in a flush frame, while the others have wood lintels, and the middle two lack glazing bars. The ground floor includes three 19th-century shop fronts with plain pilasters and modern glazing. The left-hand bay is rendered on the first floor. This building forms a group with Nos 2 and 3 St Mary's Street.
