Description
Nos 23 to 27 on Southgate is a single building from the early to mid-18th century. It has two storeys made of red brick and features a pantile roof with stone verges. Each section has two flat-topped dormers. The buildings at Nos 23 and 25 have two hung sash windows with glazing bars and brick voussoirs. There is a brick cornice above a modern ground floor shop, while No 27 has a rough rendered and painted exterior with two modern windows. The building includes stone quoins and a cornice between the storeys, with a brick ground floor and a 19th-century shop front featuring glazing bars. A round-arched passage entry is located to the left. Nos 23 to 31 form a group.
