Description
No 15 is a cottage located on Middle Street in Shoreham-by-Sea, dating from the mid-18th century. The front of the building is tile-hung, while it has a brick and cobblestone plinth with a brick and cobblestone buttress on the left, which was formerly part of an adjacent building that has since been demolished; the form of its rendered gable can still be seen. The taller section of No 15 is also tile-hung above. The roof is slate with ridge cresting, featuring a ridge stack on the right and an off-ridge stack at the front left. There is a single flat-headed dormer, and the cottage has two storeys and an attic with a two-window front, which includes sash windows. To the left, there is a half-glazed door topped with a flat hood supported on covered brackets.
