Description

Dunmore Nursery Home is a house dating back to the 16th century, with significant extensions added in the 19th century. The rear of the house is timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill, while brick extensions stand on a rendered plinth. The roof is tiled, featuring a large gable-end stack on the right and a ridge stack on the left. The rear elevation presents an irregular pattern of casement windows, with one window on each floor. A weatherboard lean-to extension is present to the right, and a 19th-century boarded door is situated on the left-hand side. The front of the house is from the 19th century, with one casement window on each floor and a 20th-century catslide roof addition to the right. This building possesses group value from the period.
